I really should not procrastinate. It is such a bad thing. And in the end I'll hate myself. Oh well. During Finals week especially, I am the GODDESS of procrastination. For real. Anything that has even a minute chance of distracting me will. And it's bad cuz I also gotta pack up and shit to go home in a week. ::sob:: I don't wanna go home! I wanted to stay in Marquette, but noooo. I have to go home. So sad.
A lot of things are making me happy today. Lets see:
~Girl Scout Cookies: Mmmm! Especially the caramel macaroon thingys. So so good. Thanks to my mom for buying me a box.
~My pink sparkly nail polish: it's pretty. Really really sparkly. From Maybelline. The name of it is "pink st*rs." How pretty. Yay! I'm such a girly girl
~Laminating: Yes I'm a dork. But Brett and I just ran to the LRC and laminated a whole lot of posters from NAE events. THey look so nice. Especially the Sugar Ray one, where I stuck my autographed backstage pass on it. It looks gooood!
~Sunshine: I don't care that this always makes me happy. It does. It's probably not a good thing that it's nice out when studying should be getting done.
~Improv Comedy: I have a childlike brain, so anything halfway funny will make me laugh. "On the Spot" the campus comedy improv group is good at making me laugh. hhehee (And Sex God's part of it--BONUS!!)
~Backroom Bookstore: I maybe maybe maybe may have a job there. ::fingers crossed:: more on this later.
~Caffeine: Espcially this weekend, I'll need it to study.
~Being loud: After midnight tomorrow night, VA goes into DEAD HOURS (what a horrible term) where it gotta be quiet all the time. How sucky. No more screamy runs up and down the Aspen hall. =(
~Mix tapes: I've been inspired to make a mixed tape this weekend. It'll be good. It'll be memorable, it'll be monumental. Yay! I'm pumped. Ask Em--I've made her quite a few marvelous mixes.
~Care packages: mommy sent me one with lots of goodies. Yay!!
~How dense my roomie is: she's acting like a complete airhead right now. It's quite amusing.
~Getting paid: I got a paycheck today. I didn't think I was gonna get one. Yay! Extra money. Always a good thing.
~Drunken conversations online: Yeah...I had an interesting convo with somebody (who will remain nameless) last night about orgies and pornos...I was amused, but that was cuz I was sober and could fully appreciate the irony of the situation.
~My work bonus: cuz my job sucks so much, they give us a $100 if we stick it out the entire year. It's a nice little incentive. =)
~Trading Spaces: I like this show, I should watch it more. It's on right now to annoy the roommate. As long as Jeopardy isn't on, I'm good.
