I'm watching Rugrats on tv right now. I love this show. It used to be one of my favorites in high school. I think it was because I yearned for the days when I was a little kid and anything was possible. I think I still like the show because I use it as a warm blanket to comfort me when I'm feeling down. It's constant: Tommy's always leading, Phil and Lil are always fighting/eating bugs and mud, Chuckie's always scared. It's been on for over a decade and yet I still adore it.
Kind of along those same lines: I love double stuf oreos. They rock my world. And my breakfast. Mmm. I should really get real food. Hmm....McD's quarter pounder with cheese sounds goooood. Hmm. Maybe I should throw on clothes and go.
Or maybe I should clean. My room is a disaster area. Gaah.
So right now we're in the middle of interviewing people for the hall next year. Including my spot. It kind of sucks. It's like playing "Find Krissy's Replacement!!!" I no likey. It seems so final. Like it's the end of an era of sorts for me. Hunt has played such a significant part in my life for the past two years. I've met so many amazing people and made a ton of quality friends. I've grown SO much and learned even more. We all know how I feel about my job, how much I love it. It's going to be hard to leave it. And the end of the year banquet? Oh my LORD--I don't even think I should put makeup on because it'll just get washed away from my incessant bawling.
You can see it, too, how much this job has impacted me. Just scroll through my older entries. I'm aware that there's over 500 of them. But look at the ones from the end of sophomore year and then some of my newest ones. I feel like I was a baby two years ago compared to now. It's crazy.
Yeah, emotions are slightly high right now.
Maybe I can distract myself with cleaning and McDonalds. Ooohhh.
