Note to self: 80s night at 621 in Lansing does not exist.
And what a disappointment it was to waltz up to the bar, discover that it was empty AND that the DJ was playing some really bad hip-hop and not classic Michael Jackson tunes.
Good thing I didn't mall-bang up my hair or don jelly shoes. I would have looked pretty ridiculous walking into the piano bar we ended up at instead...which turned out to be a decent alternative because not only did we get to hear "All She Wants to Do is Dance" but also! ALSO! Bohemian Rhapsody! AND!!! Don't Stop Believing! Because nothing can turn a dull night around like a rousing piano version of a classic Journey song.
