A Sort of Fairy Tale [ April 23, 2007, 12:56 am ]

Once upon a week ago, a fair maiden was flown to Orlando. Orlando! Home of princesses and parades and sunshine and fun!

But alas, the fair maiden did not get to parade among the princes in the sunshine. Instead she was locked in the Sheraton castle with other fair maidens of leasing, forced to attend lectures about housing problems and sales solutions. The maiden was very sad. She only got to be in the sun for twenty minutes the entire time she was in the land of Florida. (But she did get to relax in a hot tub for, like, an hour with a pina colada the second night so that pleased her.)

And then she had to fly home. The end.

The moral of this tale? While it is very nice to take part in corporate events that cost a lot of money, it is pure, unadulterated torture to bring this girl to the land of Disney and not let her play.

It sucks being grown up.

Ciao, dahling!
