There's a moment in the fantastically under-rated 80s chick-flick Girls Just Want to Have Fun where the girl is so giddy-happy that she stops in the middle of her tracks and states "I'm going to get run over by a truck." Her boyfriend just looks at her baffled, so she explains that she's just SO happy that nothing could go wrong and because of that, something bad is bound to happen.
Oh, cheesy 80s movie, how I can relate. And while I don't wish to get hit by a truck, I don't want to come down from this high that I am on.
Sigh. And sigh again.
